New Construction
Electrical Circuit Breaker panel in new home construction

Sky Power Co. is a licensed electrical contractor (CSLB #1037507) in Sherman Oaks. We do the electrical work for new homes, ADUs and commercial buildings across Los Angeles, for owners, builders and general contractors.

What we do

How we work on a new build

  1. Plan. We review the drawings and the electrical load, and size the service and panel for the building.
  2. Permit and utility. We pull the electrical permit and coordinate the new service and meter with LADWP, SCE or the city utility.
  3. Rough-in. We run the wiring while the framing is open and pass the rough inspection.
  4. Finish. After the walls are closed we install devices, fixtures and the panel, test every circuit and pass the final inspection.

Building with the future in mind

It is much easier to add capacity and spare circuits during construction than later. We plan room in the panel for an EV charger, backup power and future additions, so the building does not need a panel upgrade a few years after it is finished.
