Electrical work in Encino

Encino is part of the City of Los Angeles: electrical permits are issued by LADBS and power comes from LADWP. We take care of the permit, the inspection and any coordination with LADWP for service changes.

Encino has everything from mid-century ranch homes to large hillside estates south of Ventura Boulevard. Older homes often still have their original panel, which may be too small for an EV charger, a new air conditioning system or a kitchen remodel. Larger homes tend to need more circuits, outdoor lighting, and backup power for outages. We size the job to the house and explain the options before any work starts.

Questions and Answers

Do I need a panel upgrade to add an EV charger in Encino?

Not always. We check how much capacity your panel has left. Sometimes the charger fits as is or with a load management device; sometimes the panel needs an upgrade.

Can you install a whole-home generator?

Yes. We size the generator, install an automatic transfer switch and handle the permit and inspection.

Do you work on large homes and estates?

Yes. We handle service upgrades, multiple subpanels, outdoor lighting and backup power for larger properties.
